purchasing fail
my internet purchases arrived. i was excited, opened box. wrong tyres. i ordered the wrong size, so they won't fit (26" x 1 3/8" instead of 26" x 1.35") even though i knew that i needed to get a metric size. bah. they are rather large things to send back. and now i have to wait even longer for them... this is why shopping late at night when tired ( Read more... ) -

so, last month i looked at my bank statement to see that, yup, i've frittered away pretty much all my savings now. it's been a year of very little economically reward. so... i have to go back to thinking about money all the time, which is a bit of a wrench. really, i should have gone back to doing that at the start of the year, and i would have ( Read more... ) -
Olympus Trip 35
got me one of these on ebay a few weeks ago. it has been sitting in a cardboard box so far. going to have a poke around and see how it is, put a film through it etc. came from a dog shelter charity who get given things, so it was very much "we don't know anything about this buy it if you like". has original case which is sort of disintegrating - ( Read more... ) -
shoes
so, i bought these nice blue shoes in the largest size they make. Camper even sent them away to be stretched for free (they include it as a repair). They came back and i wore them yesterday morning but they really really hurt my feet and i had to change into trainers at lunchtime. i'm not sure they're really viable for the wedding. i can't really ( Read more... )
